Recession, Layoffs, and Cycles

The only sure bets these days seem to be cycles of recession and layoffs.  And it seems like each cycle of recession, we come out worse than before when the supposed “recovery” occurs.

This has not gone unnoticed. This is one of the reasons people are flocking to the idea of a home based business. Another thing that contributes to this movement is the lack of job security even when people are employed.

Although I could be wrong, I think it’s no longer even possible for one person to stay with one company for their entire career anymore.  Even government jobs (if you can get them) aren’t secure any longer. All this adds up to a fundamental change in mindset.

And whatever you might think of Network Marketing, there is no other type of business that has a lower barrier of entry and can be worked from home.
